The Trade
In the Lakers offseason they had time to think if they should pair up D'angelo Russell with Lonzo Ball or trade or trade D'angelo. Myself and, I think everyone that is a Lakers fan thought they were just going to pair the 2 guards in the backcourt, but no they decided not to even give the him a chance to play together. While preseason is going on Lonzo has be playing bad and not getting any wins for his team. While on the other hand, in New York with the Brooklyn Nets D'angelo put up amazing numbers in limited minutes. He scored 19 points 4 assists 2 rebounds 1 block and 1 steal in 19 minutes. The only reason they did the trade was to get cap space to sign big name free agents, but the NBA announced that the cap space is going to be lowered. Which means they could only sign 1 big free agent and it won't work because big names don't want to be by themselves, they want other big name free agents. So now I feel as if the front office is nervous, because if the Lakers don't sign anyone big and D'angelo Russell becomes a superstar like, it's looking this could be one of the worst trade in NBA history right next to the James Harden trade.
we got Kyle Kuzgod though.

ReplyDeleteFrom Lonzo ball to Brandon Ingram to Kyle Kuzma, to Julius Randle and many more, we have the potential to be in the playoffs.
