Self Control
"Practice self-discipline and keep emotions under control. Good judgement and common sense are essential."
Having self control is great because it makes you out as a calm and collective person. Having self control allows you to make good decision. Not only making decisions but making the right ones. By having self control it keeps your emotion hidden. For example, In a basketball game lets say a fan is using vulgar language against you, but you just brush it off. You do not show your emotions on the floor because it causes distraction and might even get you a technical foul. I never try to show emotions because what if im in a bad mood and can't just let out on people that had nothing to do with it. That's why I'm usually serious with people because I have that self control. Self control also comes with patience. Another example I have is when I was playing soccer. If I came off the bench I didn't show emotions and was mad because I wasn't starting. I would just show the coaches what I can do on the field and eventually I was a starter.
